Spotlighting for Snakes in Bali

Agus Putra from Bali Reptile Rescue takes us spotlighting through Bali's beaches, mangroves, swamps and rice fields. This guided tour was designed to find the highest number of species of snake in the shortest amount of time. Agus shared his knowledge of each species we encountered with the goal of increasing awareness of their conservation status and behaviour.  Given their proximity to humans, snakes often end up in or near houses in Bali and are killed out of fear. Agus dedicates his spare time at Bali Reptile Rescue to removing snakes and other reptiles from these areas and releasing them back into their natural habitat. The key message here is to call Bali Reptile Rescue if you see the snake in or near your home.
