The Spotted Python is one of the shortest species of python, growing up to 1 metre in length. They are non-venomous and characterised by dark to light brown spots on its body. Juveniles mainly feed on small lizards, however once grown up they feed on bats and other small mammals plus other reptiles and birds. They prefer rocks areas, dry woodlands, river banks and caves.
